Oregon Ranch Operations

Our ranch is a beautiful 360 acres in Eagle Point, just outside of Medford, Oregon. In addition to the area dedicated to the horse facility and pastures, we raise hay on about 200 acres, and have riding trails for the horses above the hay fields.

After acquiring a group of top horses in Kentucky and obtaining experience breeding and showing on the national circuit in the East, we moved our mares to our Oregon facility and concentrated on promoting Mountain Horses out West. Producing such outstanding offspring has been a fun and rewarding period in our lives.
Recently we have cut back on breeding to be able to do more riding, showing and breed promotion. We have a regional high point UMH show circuit in the Pacific Northwest that is great fun! We have moved our remaining top breeding mares back to Kentucky. We have also sent five top home-grown prospects to Kentucky for training and show, and are excited about again being involved in national competition. We now only occasionally have horses for sale in Oregon, but will continue to have a limited number of top prospects available in Kentucky.
Our property in Oregon is a dream facility, supporting a wide range of equestrian activities, including breeding, raising, training, showing and trail riding. We have both Mountain Horses and performance Quarter Horses (cutting horses) at the ranch.

Our goal is always to provide for the optimum health and well-being of our horses. We designed our horse facilities with extra large stalls, all with runs, that are adjacent to pastures for daily turn-out. All horses are on a regular program of medical and farrier care, with regular shots, boosters, worming and trimming. We do regular fecal exams to monitor the effectiveness of worming programs. |

Under saddle horses started at our Oregon ranch are something special. Our training strives to produce a quiet, well-mannered mount that is sound in mind and body. Training facilities include two round pens, a covered 240' x 120' arena, an outdoor 300' x 150' arena, a trail obstacle course, riding trails on the property, and unlimited riding on surrounding public lands. |

Our location is very convenient! We are just minutes from Interstate 5 and the Medford Airport. The Rogue River Valley is a great place to visit, with the Shakespeare and Britt festivals, historic Jacksonville, and many other attractions. We are located on Highway 140, five miles East of the intersection of 140 and Highway 62 (Crater Lake Highway) Our street address is 6222 Highway 140. Come on out and visit! |
