Dam:  Patterson's Sweet Dulcy (by Dock)

Cast In Iron is what Mountain Horses are supposed to be all about.  Do you want smooth, as in can't tell when the feet are put down?  Do you want the ultimate in Mountain Horse temperament?  Do you want perfect leg conformation with short cannon bones, good angles, absolutely straight from front and rear?   Beautiful head? "Casper" has no equal.  He is calm, quiet, steady, confident, people-loving, just plain fun.  He has a really neat personality and learns whatever you want him to with pretty much a one-time lesson. He has been a joy to handle since he was a newborn foal.  He has near perfect conformation, long sloping rump with a well muscled, powerful rear.  He has a beautiful head with ears that hook at the top.

Best of all is his way of going that is the ultimate in gliding, concussion-free comfort.  The first thing heard from anyone that rides him is "Ooohhh!!  He's so smooooth!"

Casper's sire and dam have been prepotent for passing on both the super smooth gait and well as the signature temperament everyone is looking for.  If you would like to breed for the ultimate in any of these "core" areas - gait, smoothness, temperament, or conformation - you should consider Cast In Iron.

Casper's show career started as a three year old in an impressive fashion.  He won many championships in the Trail Pleasure division, and at the end of the 2007 show year he was High Point Trail Pleasure Stallion.  In 2008 Casper was shown selectively and again won several blues, both in the Trail Pleasure and the Country Trail Pleasure classes.  This horse is almost never out of the ribbons.

We anticipate that Casper will pass on his very laid-back, willing temperament and concussion-free way of traveling, not to mention handsome good looks.  You should get substance with style and great ride-ability!

Casper is available for breeding by FROZEN SEMEN ONLY (available shipped or inseminated from Park Equine in Winchester, KY)
